Glenwood Springs, Colorado (Feb. 10, 2023) — Glenwood Hot Springs Resort is pleased to announce the promotion of Kimberly Marcum to resort sales manager and the hiring of Casey Anderson as resort sales assistant.
For the past year, Marcum has served as the resort’s sales and marketing assistant upon relocating from Denver, where she worked in sales and marketing for the Shane Company and graphic design for Summit Funding Group. She graduated from Thomas More University in Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and earned her CORe Certificate from Harvard Business School. During summer, you can find Simonson enjoying the views, taking photographs and whitewater rafting on the Colorado River. In winter, she enjoys soaking in the hot springs or sitting by a fire with her husband, John, and their four cats.
Anderson grew up in Glenwood Springs, graduating from Glenwood Springs High School in 2011 and Colorado Mountain College with her associate degree with a focus in resort hospitality. Prior to joining Glenwood Hot Springs Resort in December, Anderson and her fiancé, David, sold their house in Glenwood Springs and spent time traveling around the United States for nearly a year. Previously, she was manager, baker, and head chef at Sweet Coloradough for five years and a raft guide at Blue Sky for three years. In the summer, Anderson enjoys rafting rivers and hiking mountains, walking her dog, and relaxing in the hot springs.
