Congratulations New Aquatics Team

It is our pleasure to recognize our new Aquatics team here at the Glenwood Hot SpringsResort! Kenia Contreras as our new Assistant Aquatics Manager, along with Taylor Cline andIsaac Hinojos who are our new Head Lifeguards. Having witnessed all three progress as Lifeguards here on property, we are beyond excited to see what future growth these three bring to the department, and where this team could potentially be in the upcoming years. Their ability to work together as a team has been a valuable resource at ensuring the safety of all our guests during these challenging times.

Since becoming a Lifeguard here in 2017, Kenia has been involved as a Team Lead, Swim Lesson Instructor, Lifeguard Instructor, as well as becoming a CNA through Colorado Mountain College. Growing up locally as a Glenwood Springs High School graduate, Kenia has always had an eye for safety as well as developing new Lifeguard’s skills.

Taylor Cline has been a Lifeguard with the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort on and off since 2018. His reliability and “can do” attitude has had an extremely positive impact during his time with us, being recognized by both guest and employee comments on a regular basis. Taylor has also been a Team Lead and Lifeguard Instructor for our team in recent years. Taylor comes to us from Colorado Springs and has his Wilderness First Responder certification, along with an EMT certification.

Isaac Hinojos began at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort as a Lifeguard in 2019, becoming a Team Lead as well as a Lifeguard Instructor very quickly. Isaac is a Coal Ridge High School graduate and is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Colorado Mountain College. All three bring a fresh set of eyes to safety here at the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort. Please join us in congratulating them on their promotions as you see them out and about on property!
