COVID-19 and Guest Health & Wellness

Updated: May 27th, 2020 4:00PM Mountain Time

Glenwood Hot Springs Resort is working diligently with City, County and State officials to prepare to reopen at 30% capacity while maintaining a sustainable level of social distancing to ensure guest and employee safety; which remains our number one priority.

At this time we are planning to re-open our Athletic Club beginning June 1st and our lodge on June 5th (Book Now). As we navigate through this unprecedented time as responsibly as we can, we have implemented a number of new safety measures based on guidance from health authorities, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and appropriate government agencies. We are committed to a responsible reopening of Glenwood Hot Springs Resort. Please review our Reopening Plan and follow all posted instructions while visiting.

In an effort to protect the health and safety of our guests, employees and community, Glenwood Hot Springs Resort opted to close on March 15, 2020 in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic. While we are eager to welcome guests back to Glenwood Hot Springs Resort to enjoy our soothing, therapeutic waters, we do not have a set reopening date at this time. We are missing the joyful smiles from our loyal guests and we hope that you and your loved ones are staying healthy and safe during these unprecedented times.

Please know that Glenwood Hot Springs Resort is working diligently with City, County and State officials to prepare to reopen while following governmental guidelines of maintaining a sustainable level of social distancing and upholding the directive to wear masks in public settings. Once we have more information, we will provide you with updates in the coming weeks.

We intend to take a conservative approach to reopening, to provide the safest environment we can for our guests and employees. When we do reopen, we ask that guests take individual responsibility for their actions and make respectful choices that have their fellow guests in mind. We acknowledge that some of our new operation procedures aren’t what we are accustomed to, but we’ve put very careful thought into what is necessary to provide a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.

Glenwood Hot Springs Resort treats the health and wellness of guests, employees, vendors and the community with the utmost seriousness. With the concerns of COVID-19 and its impacts in mind, Glenwood Hot Springs Resort has opted to temporarily close the Pool, Spa of the Rockies, Athletic Club, Lodge, as well as The Grill and The Shop beginning March 15th.

In these uncertain and challenging times, the resort feels it is prudent to temporarily cease operations following the recommendations of public health officials. This is in support of the overall well-being of the community. The situation will be monitored on a day-to-day basis and decisions will be made accordingly. Please continue to check our website for live updates.

As Glenwood Hot Springs Resort does its part to stop the spread of COVID-19, we encourage all visitors, employees and the community to follow health department guidelines.
