Spa of the Rockies has Sweet Treatments for Kids and Teens

Created with young spa goers in mind, the new kids and teens menu at the Spa of the Rockies at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort offers up treatments with a twist.

There are so many ways to play and relax at Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Just perusing the new Kids and Teens spa menu at the Spa of the Rockies will put a smile on your face. Catchy and creatively named, the treatments are designed to help kids have fun as well as feel pampered and at ease in the spa setting.

Spa of the Rockies: A Kid-friendly Spa

“As a family-oriented resort spa, it made sense for our award-winning Spa of the Rockies to add services for young people,” Lindsey Lewis, Glenwood Hot Springs Resort Sales Manager, said. “This way, in addition to soaking in the hot springs and playing in the new Sopris Splash Zone, families can also share the spa experience and create memories and traditions that last a lifetime.”

After all, adults aren’t the only ones who experience stress; with the pressures of school, sports and friendships, being a kid is hard work and is often exhausting. Like their grown-up counter parts, young people welcome and deserve a little spa time too.

When Dessert Does a Body Good

  • Body Treatment

It’s a Wrap body treatment features mouth-watering ingredients like a sweet cream sea salt exfoliation, followed by a warmed body mask in your choice of chocolate-strawberry or s’more. Yummy!

  • Massage

Because everything is better with bubbles, this massage includes a no-tub-required, frothy bubble mask and whipped shea butter cream. It’s then topped off with a choice of four fun offerings: Whooptie-Dew, Over the Rainbow, Take Me to the Moon and Little Bunny Foo-Foo.

  • Facial

Embrace your inner-Instagram star, with a fresh-face facial that will leave your skin looking and feeling fabulous. In addition to pro-tips on skincare from our trained aestheticians, you’ll also get your choice of  one of three different masks: Guac It to Ya to soothe and hydrate, Pajama Party Time—a yogurt, honey and oatmeal mask to purify or That’z It, an ultra-deep cleansing mask for acne-prone skin.

  • Nails

No day at the spa is complete without the finishing touch of a manicure and pedicure. Kids nail services focus on sparkle and shine. The three specially created nail treatments—Watermelon Dreamsicle Pop-Star, Lemon Drop the Mic and Passion Fruit Punch Buggy—are the modern version of sugar and spice and everything nice.

Because Kids are Special

In addition to dreamy Spa of the Rockies treatments, kids also receive a complimentary sweet treat at the conclusion of their spa day. For spa-goers under the age of 16, we ask that a parent or guardian be present in the locker rooms as well as during treatments. We also suggest wearing an old swimsuit during body treatments; undergarments are recommended but optional for massage or facial treatments.
