Car Wash for Employees

Glenwood Springs, CO (April 28, 2009) Managers at Glenwood Hot Springs rolled up their sleeves and carried wash buckets to suds up their employee’s cars at the Employee Car Wash on April 28, 2009. This was all in fun and in effort to do something out-of-the-ordinary for their coworkers.

In a time when employers need to get more creative to retain workers, the Glenwood Hot Springs is looking at non-traditional ways to keep employees happy. Kjell Mitchell, GHS COO/General Manager says, “Visitors come to the Hot Springs to have fun, so it is important that our staff feels like it is a fun place to work.”  

Glenwood Hot Springs employs between 230-250 in the summer months.
