I was a young, single mother of two lovely children and we had moved to Glenwood Springs to get away from the city and its problems. Glenwood Hot Springs has healed over 4 generations of my family on one level or another. But back to my children - life had already been quite rough for them at their tender ages of 10 and 12; so, I came up with a reward plan around homework and the Hot Springs Pool. Everyday after school we would all sit down and do our studies, including myself who was going to college at Colorado Mountain College at 32 years old. So after dinner and homework was done and checked, it was our special time to go to the pool and soak and swim to end our day together in the warmth of the healing waters. I have tearful and fond memories of those years of Jr. High and High School for my children, but it was the most healing time of our lives because of the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool.
