Meet the Team


Ann holds a master’s degree in education and is a certified Pilates instructor. She is also a Gold Certified Group Fitness Instructor with the American Council on Exercise and regularly attends national fitness and mind-body conferences. Ann teaches Pilates Chair and Pilates Mat classes. Outside of classes she loves skiing, biking, hiking and climbing. 


To say that Annig is devoted to yoga is an understatement. She began teaching Hatha Yoga in 2002 and has not stopped learning or teaching since. During the past 13 years, she has completed more than 500 hours of study that includes anatomical alignment and therapeutic tools for healing the body. She is currently working toward her 1000-hour certification. Annig teaches Prajna Yoga, H2Yoga and Therapeutic Yoga.

Cindy D.

Cindy is an accomplished runner and triathlete. She is also a passionate yoga instructor who has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She is certified to teach YogaFit® levels 1 – 3. At the Athletic Club, Cindy instructs Yoga for all Levels, a Hatha Yoga class that gently introduces all the basic yoga postures and blends balance, strength and flexibility.

Cindy has been with Glenwood Hot Springs for over 30 years. She teaches Morning Mix Up, a low impact aerobics class that focuses on cardio, strength, core and stretching. She also instructs Water Aerobics, a popular class that promotes overall fitness while being gentle on the joints. Cindy graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Recreation and Health with an emphasis on Exercise Physiology and Nutrition. 

Cyndie R.

Before Cyndie heads off to her main job as a bookkeeper, she gets up bright and early to put fellow fitness enthusiasts through their paces. Cyndie teaches the 6:30 a.m. Spinning class at the Athletic Club. Her students are busy people. They count on Cyndie for a thorough, challenging workout to start their day out right. Cyndie’s passion for spinning began with her first spinning class; she loved it so much that in 1999 she decided to become a certified spinning instructor. 


Debbi teaches several Spinning classes at the Athletic Club, including evening and Saturday classes. She is a Mad Dogg® certified spinning instructor. In addition to being a personal trainer, her other qualifications include TRX, Zumba and Aqua Zumba. Debbi’s high energy and enthusiasm are contagious and addictive no matter which class she is leading.  


Erin teaches Resorative Hatha Yoga. In 2007, she completed a 200-hour Contemplative Hatha Yoga teacher training course. Since then she has acquired certifications in Prenatal Yoga, Adaptive and Chair Yoga, Senior Yoga, Nada Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra. She leads dynamic practices that empower each individual to work respectfully within his or her diverse abilities.


Lisa teaches two classes at the Club. Her 90-minute Saturday morning Sivananda Yoga class incorporates the five points of yoga: proper exercise (Asanas), proper breathing (Pranayama), proper relaxation (Savanna), proper diet (vegetarian) and positive thinking and meditation (Vedanta and Dhyana). She also teaches Pilates Mat classes and even trained with founder Joe Pilates himself!


In addition to being a personal trainer at the Athletic Club, Lynn is ACE, Peak Pilates, AAAI, Zumba and Zumbatomic certified. She currently teaches Spinning on Friday mornings. When she’s not leading spinning classes, she is teaching PE/Health at Glenwood Springs High School. Lynn has also applied her fitness and motivational skills coaching sports including track, volleyball and cheer.


Mary has been a fitness fixture at the Athletic Club since she started teaching during the aerobics craze in the 1980s. She is certified in a number of aerobic disciplines, as well as in strength and weight training, nutrition, Pilates, yoga, senior aerobics and holistic health. Mary teaches Rock Bodies which emphasizes strength, endurance, balance and flexibility.


Michelle teaches Total Body Tone, a class that builds strength and core conditioning though the use of Tabata intervals, a form of high intensity interval training (HIIT). Her workouts are fun and fast-paced. Michelle is certified in Group Fitness, Yoga, Fitour Primary and Advanced Yoga. Outside the workout studio, Michelle likes hiking, paddleboarding and beach vacations.


Patti is one of the Club’s busiest instructors. She teaches seven classes including Friday Flex, Pilates Chair and Mat classes, Spin, Prajna Yoga, Sunrise Yoga and Yogalates. After losing 30 pounds in 1980 through diet and exercise, Patti was determined to stick to her healthy lifestyle. She became certified to teach a wide variety of fitness; over the years has inspired countless students to embrace healthy living.


Patty has been a fitness instructor at the Glenwood Hot Springs Athletic Club for almost 30 years. Patty teaches Morning Mix Up on Wednesdays. When Patty is not leading a class, she spends her time working for YouthZone, a non-profit organization that helps transform the lives of at-risk children and their families.


Sharma is an accomplished athlete. She is a Boston Marathon finisher, a veteran triathlete and a certified Ironman Coach. She’s also qualified to instruct Group Fitness. At the Athletic Club she teaches Rock Bodies and HIGH Fitness, an easy-to-follow choreographed high intensity interval training class.


Suzzanne is one of the Club’s primary Pilates instructors, certified since 2003 in all levels of Pilates. She teaches Pilates Chair, Pilates Mat, Pilates Reformer and Pilates Bands, Balls and Rings classes. Pilates consists of low-impact flexibility, muscular strength and endurance movements that emphasize use of the abdominals, lower back, hips and thighs. Outside of keeping her students physically fit, Suzzanne is a full-time musician and recording artist.


After discovering the healing benefits of yoga for herself, Tara began teaching in 2009. In recent years, she has taken supplemental yoga training totaling over 700 hours of study. In addition to yoga, she has added Barre, Pilates, TRX, and Yoga Sculpt to her instructional repertoire. A challenging blend of strength, balance, grace and encouragement, Tara’s classes focus on mind, body and spiritual wellness.


Tesia is champion swimmer. She attended St. Cloud State University in Minnesota where she earned a degree in elementary education as well as the following swimming accolades: 12 All American titles, five school records and 2003 SCSU Woman Athlete of the Year. She also spent four years as part of the Swim Camp at Stanford University lead by legendary swimming coach Skip Kenney. Tesia teaches Swim Tech Fitness, a fee-based class that helps to refine stroke technique and efficiency.

Tiffany L.

Tiffany has been teaching at the Club since 2004. In addition to being a personal trainer, Tiffany teaches spinning, group fitness and TRX, which stands for Total body Resistance Exercise and incorporates a suspension training system to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core.
