Glenwood Hot Springs Gives to Local Groups and Encourages Others to Do Likewise
Glenwood Hot Springs is honored to be able to support many worthy causes in the Glenwood Springs community, including local Girl and Boy Scout troops, the Salvation ArmyLift-Upand YouthZone Foundation. These organizations provide valuable and much-needed services to people of all ages in our area. We are thankful and humbled to be in a position to support their efforts and encourage others to volunteer or contribute to these community organizations, especially now during the holiday giving season.
Parking Under Bridge Possible Again
Glenwood Hot Springs would like to thank members and guests for their patience while the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) did repair and maintenance work on the portion of the Grand Avenue Bridge above the parking lot at the west end of the property. It is likely some portions of the parking lot will be temporarily closed to parking in during December for soil sampling by CDOT in anticipation of the construction of the new Grand Avenue Bridge. We will keep you posted as details emerge.

Health & Beauty Tips: Winterize Your Skincare Regime
Each season of the year has perks and pitfalls for your skin. During winter the brisk temperatures give cheeks a rosy glow, but because of indoor heating and decreased humidity, skin tends to be drier. Trained Spa of the Rockies estheticians and technicians are qualified to address a variety of dry skin challenges including eczema and psoriasis; they can help restore your skin to optimal health. Our skincare experts can provide a variety of hydrating treatments for the face and body and recommend a home care routine to alleviate winter skin issues. To book a facial or body treatment with a Spa of the Rockies professional, please call 970-947-3331.
Guard on Duty: Avoid a Fall
Winter weather has arrived. As temperatures plummet, remember to keep an eye out for ice. The decking and many sidewalks at the pool are snow-free all winter thanks to an underground network of pipes that heat the concrete surfaces surrounding the pool using thermal energy from the spring. Even so, we suggest taking extra care. Icy patches are typically on the ground, but ice can also come from overhead. Use caution when walking under rooflines; use handrails where available, walking aids like a cane, or lean on a friend for support. Keep it safe, and see you at the pool!
